The last Airbnb I stayed sent me a 3 page google doc for checkout instructions then still tried charging me an extra $200 fee. Yea I’m done for awhile

The Airbnbs I clean all have the checkout rules to load and turn on the dishwasher before they leave and take their trash out. A couple of them also ask guests to strip the beds. Makes things easier on me as the cleaner

This is great. While I think you should tidy up I’ll never understand paying a huge cleaning fee and then Airbnb owners leaving a huge booklet telling you how to clean.

As long as the check out instructions are reasonable like having the towels go in a designated spot for example and not doing a full deep clean I’m fine with checkout instructions

I don’t stay in airbnbs often but the last few I stayed in had basic checkout instructions- strip the beds, leave trash wherever they wanted it, load the dishwasher but don’t run it, etc. Easy things like that aren’t bad but whoever had that 3 page long google doc was insane

the stroop in stroopwafel is pronounced like rope not like scoop. the double o sound like scoop would be the oe sound in dutch.

i like the type of instructions that like load the dishwasher and clean out fridge/ throw out trash.. but we stayed somewhere that was like load and unload dishwasher and washer/dryer strip bed sweat and a butt load of other instructions i was like soooo why you charging a cleaning fee if im doing all the cleaning?

I just want to know if you want the bed stripped and a load of laundry started. Or any cleaning things you DON'T want us to do. We're going to do the dishes (at least start the dishwasher) and have laundry running if needed. We take out our garbage (including any open food) but we'll leave unused, sealed food for the cleaners. The cleaning fee is so that I don't have to sweep or wipe down every surface. But we aren't going to leave it trashed.

My last airbnb had an entire booklet of instructions for check in and out. Not even kidding like 3 pages front and back for each ROOM, it was ridiculous

The nespresso pods are recyclable. The company will send you bags and it's free to mail them back.

You should do an Amazon storefront of the things in the air bnbs,you’re home ect.Everyone is always curious where things are bought and that way you can have another stream of income from commission of items purchased.I love the wood shelves in the kitchen,the pot holder on the wall,and the magnetic utensils/knife holder on the wall.are they from Amazon? They look great!

We had a 2 page to do list before checking out and upon renting the bnb there was a $300 cleaning fee.

No idea the demographics of the guests but I have come home to the bathroom faucet running because kids were brushing teeth and just walked away 😂 so that was my thought on that and it kinda made me giggle especially since it was a bathroom sink
