The power delivery on an R6 is WAY scarier than the R9 if you’ve never ridden either. Having ridden both the R9’s power delivery is very linear whereas the R6 just punches you with a massive power spike once you hit 8-9krpm

I have a 2026 636 and let me tell you it’s quick but when I hopped on my friends 2025 R9 it didn’t feel as powerful as my 6R but the R9 was still fun to use

Honestly the r9 reminds me of the Kawasaki 1100 in terms of power delivery (very predictable) the r6s power will jump out at you once you get into high enough RPMs

I’ve seen the r9 in person. That mf is not beginner friendly. Sure Maybe in a straight line or empty street, but in a moderately busy city I highly doubt a beginner is cleanly handling that
