Will correct a bit. If a directory contains files, rmdir won't work. In that term, it's best to use rm -rf DIRECTORY

also cd -- goes all the way back you can delete anything rm -r or -rf aswell as you can use ls -a to list hidden folders and use lsblk -f or df -h to show how much space is occupied
