@big.hook: Everyone in a America should buy used vehicles instead of brand new ones… at least for a year. These people are sick. #carsoftiktok #carsales #trucktok #trucks #sales
This is why im redoing my 2001 Silverado. Gonna spend $10,000 probably but it will last another 25 years after that.

As long as people keep paying it, they’ll keep charging it.

My 2013 f250 6.7 with 380,000 is going to outlive me. not because it's great, but because I refuse to pay the cost of a new diesel.

I’m to the point where I’d rather buy a 30 year old truck and pay to have it restored over and over again. It would be cheaper lol

if you think thats bad wait til you see the private seller market..cant afford those either because you cant get financing for a 20 year old truck..300k miles asking 20k minimum

Truck prices stay high because businesses use them as tax shields. Through incentives like Section 179, a company can write off the entire $80k price tag in one year, basically getting a massive "discount" on their tax return. Since these companies are always willing to pay top dollar to save on taxes, dealerships have zero reason to drop the price for the rest of us.
