The reason they are doing it isn't as deep as you make it sound. I mean it does create a ripple effect to your points, but this is all about attempting to reduce providers (also to prevent new providers from starting) and making it more difficult for people to utilize services. The hoops they make you jump through, the more likely people will give up. The state is being short-sighted on many issues and that I why I am running for office. I am very invested in Medicaid and Medicaid waiver related issues. My son (14) has profound disabilities. He requires help with all of his care, attends ABA, and has a feeding tube. Today was the last day to make an ABA public comment on certain changes they are proposing.
