At my fam old bar, we don’t care who you are. My mom once told a certain celeb to go back to the end of the line after trying to cut. I had a very wealthy couple come in, know in the area for always tipping well. I waited on them. Didn’t treat them any different. The bill was like $70 and they set a $100 on the table. I said I’d be back the with change and she told me to keep it. I thanked them and went to the til…there were (7) $100 bills. I quickly went back to them (they were crisp and new so thought maybe they were stuck together). Nope. It was all for me and the other two workers. 😳 Still never treated them differently when they’d come in. Sometimes they tipped heavily. Others just normally. Always was just impressed with our work and thankful we never treated them differently 😌

I used to be a server and I would always do the math in my benefit Is that wrong? I mean your last receipt did not up but they're willing to pay $82 so I'm going to tip accordingly correct?

A friend and I were sitting at the bar with John Travolta one night and we tipped more than he did. We closed out to dine in the restaurant, and the bartender came over after he left and told us every time John came to town, he’d come in, and he was always a bad tipper.

I really enjoyed my salon service one time, I bought a tea tree facial and hot towel treatment and some hair and body moisturizer and tipped fairly well and it just makes me happy

I don't math well on the regular. sometimes I just write the tip and leave the total blank and other times I write the total and leave the tip blank. I always make sure that my copy matches and that what I write is clear. I also make sure that my server or bartender knows what I wrote.😂😂
