that "I'm no longer your friend" is actually a manipulation technique, thank you for teaching him to identify it and to stand his ground.... and you taught him how to handle the situation very well..... 💯 I'm pretty sure the other kid picked up that character somewhere probably from home and he's seen it work.....

oh you taught these boys such an important lesson. one of the pillars of a healthy friendship is security — knowing that even in conflict, your friend always wants to mend the relationship rather than threaten it. great job teaching him how to create security in friendships and not settle for less.
