My husband bought a pre made stew because he said I did t know how to make one. I made one and made him think it was pre made stew until after he told me how good it was. Then I fessed up that I made it. Point proven.

This is not a big deal. My husband refused to try a different kind of milk that was cheaper. My mom had said it was just as good as the kind he usually drank. I put the milk he wouldn’t try into an empty gallon of his usual milk. He drank the whole gallon and after it was gone I asked if the milk tasted as good as usual and he said yeah then asked why. I told him what I had done. Now he drinks the other milk all the time. He laughed about it.

As someone who is very picky and a little weird (don’t want to say OCD because this term is overused) about food and drink in general: it’s really not that deep. I would probably tell him to blind test me with different light roasted and dark roasted coffees, to find out if my brain is just bonkers, but I also do have a psychology degree, so … 😅

Well, I’m your wife must not know much about Coffee because I’m not even a coffee drinker and I know that the lighter the bean the more caffeine the caffeine is what is so makes things bitter so lighter roast is going to be way more bang for your buck than a darker roast

Yeah he should’ve told her like after a few weeks but the thing is light and dark first it could be just a coffee. Maybe she doesn’t like dark roast maybe just that particular coffee makes a nice dark roast because even light and dark roast don’t taste the same so she might generally not like all the coffee that she’s mentioned in the past because maybe most of the coffees that our dark roast don’t taste good to her it just happens that that particular dark roast was lucky.
