I can’t remember how to spell them correctly but Alana, Buba, and Elijah. They had the same story almost. She was an addict of many things and I was a baby sitter and ended up almost becoming their legal guardian. I had them for over a year and I sent them to her to VISIT HER for thanksgiving and her youngest came back drunk. He was like 6. He got into “the sprite bottle mom was drinking from” and she SENT HIM BACK TO ME DRUNK. We got into contact with social services and I was going to become their legal guardian, which meant we had to take take away the food stamps and money she was getting from the state to take care of the kids I was HouseLinc. the mom came and got them in the middle of the night and because we never got to fully finish ANYTHING she was still their legal guardian and we could do nothing. I miss them and want to know they’re okay. That was over 20 years against this point.

This is INSANE. I’m trippin when my kids are gone for 2/3days on vacation with their grandparents. I can’t even fathom just sending them to stay with random people and entrusting them to take care of them the way I do. For days/weeks at a time at that… that’s truly heartbreaking

This made me so sad. My son name is Christian and his friend has been staying with us ALOT lately. I get frustrated because an extra growing boy is a lot but I know he needs us 😩 you never know what ppl are going through.
