No more silence.” Across the United States in 2024 and 2025, laws have been passed restricting gender affirming care, limiting where trans people can exist, and putting families at risk. From statehouses to courtrooms, our lives are debated like we are not already living them. At the same time, trans people, especially Black and brown trans women, continue to face disproportionate levels of violence. Names are lost. Stories are cut short. And still the narrative tries to question if we are real. This is not confusion. This is not a phase. And this is not new. To anyone who is scared to come out To anyone who feels like they are not “really” a girl To anyone who had to hide to survive You are not becoming something. You already are. We carry those we have lost not as tragedy alone, but as truth. They were real. We are real. And no law, no policy, no voice raised against us can undo that. We deserve safety. We deserve peace. We deserve to live without fear. But more than that We already exist. And we are not going anywhere.

Please take this in the spirit in which it is meant. There are quite a few biological women that have stated they do not want biological men in their bathrooms. Whether you agree or not that is their right. It is their space and they don’t have to explain why they feel that way. Doesn’t matter who can tell or who can’t tell. They do not give consent period full stop. What I think should happen is trans people should have their own bathrooms that way everyone is confortable.
