this is leaving out some really important costs that definitely tip it in Florida favor. First off, you’re gonna have to update your passport if you don’t already have it, and if this is for a family, most likely, your kids do not have a passport. That’s not a huge cost, but it’s something that I never see factored in with this. Also, food in Tokyo is substantially more expensive than in the United States even on the Disney properties and I never see this factored in because it clearly tips the scale in favor of Florida. Also in the cost that you can’t really count for is the fact that you’re going to lose at least a full day in the air going to Tokyo that you can’t get back which either accounts for a day off from work and or a day that you’re not actually experiencing the parks, which is kind of priceless in terms of what you’re doing here. Even if you’re coming from the West Coast of Florida, you’re gonna be in the air for maybe 5 to 6 hours versus essentially a full day each way going to Tokyo. I know this sounds great for a post, but there’s some very serious things that are not being factored in

This is the most misleading info out there. Flights to Japan alone are costing me what it costs to do the Florida trip for a day. But I just planned for my best friend and his wife to go, it cost them $4000 for the week. They stayed on property and ate the meal plan. Their flight was frontier because why pay $350 when you can pay $180 for the flight

That’s absolutely wrong! A 5 day trip to Disney is upwards of 10k! Thats for all parks with day tickets, Air BNB, car rental, food, souvenirs, and flights from Texas.
