I've been on all sides of the EMR, the thing I want MOST is the ability to pull up insurance coverage specifics for meds, labs, imaging and procedures.

I would want an EMR that allows me to check what are the things I’m going to use the most, then save. If I should need an extra tab, then I can add it. I just want everything I need in front of me. When I document, one click ok and that’s it. I don’t want to know I have unsigned encounters because I forgot to hit the other click.
