@traveldaddydave: Has this happened to you? Amex Platinum has 2 seperate Uber credits for you every month. 1. An automatic 15 dollars is added to your Uber cash account the 1st of every month (Plus an extra $20 in December), once you add your Platinum card as a payment method in your Uber app. 2. You also get free Uber ONE in the form of a 9.99 statement credit, every month you charge your Uber One membership to your platinum card. However, they randomly changed the way I was paying for my Uber One account.; Instead of charging my Amex, they started deducting the 9.99 from my Uber cash, effectively using one Amex credit to pay for the other. This can all be solved with a simple toggle of a switch in your Uber settings. But Ive had Uber one for a long time, and have never touched it. So it’s super weird that it magically toggled itself on sometime this month. And it was quite the annoying surprise when I was expecting to see $15 in my account an only seeing $5.
