Last time I talked to her was Feb 28th, together for 7 years. She asked for space, gave her space all this month. my birthday was just yesterday and she reached out a day before. She wished me a happy birthday then the next day said I hope your day went great. Then we went for a walk. Hopefully this is a good sign. She was the burnt out pursuer.

This is easier said than done. It really depends how it ended. This whole trying to convince people to force distance just in hopes of reconciliation is not healthy for us going through the heart break. The person will come back if they want to that’s it period

we broke up 3 weeks ago and i haven’t said a word, he finally messaged me and checked on me and asked how i was doing. at first, i wanted to message him many times, but i wrote it in my notes. I watched a lot of youtube video of detachment and it helped lol

Its day 13 after the breakup for me. He broke up with me because he „lost feelings“ and cuz needs time for him (we were almost a year together). I still love him so much and cant stop thinking about us and if i did smth wrong or idk. He was my first love and i still hope all the time that after i give him some time he would wanna try again cuz i literally cant think of a life without him rn. And we were so good for each other and i just dont know what came to him breaking up. I miss him so bad that i cant find any distractions and i just wish so bad that after i give him time we can work it out again

Question, we’re on no contact so we can both take time for ourselves (she ended things). But we both still very much have our heart open to each other still as we’ve both explicitly said we want to try again. New relationship, new versions of us. Even though I need this time away just as much as her, I can’t not think about her and I want to break no contact so bad so I leave little hints like the song names on my ig posts or changing the background of our iMessage chats to auroras. What do I do to not ruin this? I want her to know I still care but how can I know she still does?

Mine was a unique situation… it was a reconnection with my high school love from 30 years ago. We moved super fast -2months. He ended it after I asked to slow down.. then something happened I am unsure of, seemed to be a sort of emergency, which he has not shared. He said once he dealt with it he would talk to me. I checked on him Monday saying I hope he’s okay & he said thank you. It’s been a week since it ended. Can I check on him???

yea... I begged and hoped and tried convincing snd being better for over a year...... failed to see my value i just didnt want to loose my family... since then ive moved out and recently I stopped chasing and asking and hoping. I gave it to God and we will see what happens next
