HELLP syndrome almost killed me at 29 weeks. the doctor was so confident in everything being fine with an emergency c section ♡ i wouldn't wish that mag drip on my worst enemy though 😭

i’ve had elevated blood pressure and vision changes and they said my heart rate was high at my visit today but she said it was due to dehydration, so i’m not sure anymore.

I’ve had headaches that wouldn’t go for almost 3 days and high bp for two days and I feel guilty bc I didn’t take myself to hospital bc I thought it would go away

My first pregnancy I had mild preeclampsia at 35weeks that become severe after birth. Since then I lost 100 pounds, got pregnant again, and already have high blood pressure at my first 2 prenatal appointments. 😩 I thought being in a smaller body would help me out. Instead I’m getting symptoms way sooner. Only happens when I’m pregnant too otherwise it’s always low/normal

Seeing a TikTok while I was pregnant about how it can happen postpartum literally saved my life. If I didn’t know that, I would have thought I felt so bad because I just had a baby and my anxiety all rolled into one and I would not be here.

she said preeclampsia is high blood pressure that developes after 20 weeks but I have had chronic hypertension since the first trimester but I'm I was told so far at 33 weeks i just have high blood pressure I had blood work done it is perfect. I also don't have any other symptoms preeclampsia, so what is the difference why is mine just high blood pressure and not preeclampsia?

Do you have any recommendations for how to make taking magnesium (during or after labor in particular) more comfortable? It was a pretty miserable experience for me after delivering my son. Trying to prepare for a second delivery!

With my youngest I got tested for it when I was pregnant and I didn’t have it just high blood pressure but then when I was in labor I had preeclampsia

I found out I had it at 37 weeks and was induced the same day, had my daughter the next day! I was never warned about preeclampsia, it was scary!

I had undiagnosed preeclampsia, I went in to get induced on day 3 they decided do to a C-section and that’s when they found out I had preeclampsia. I also had ZERO symptoms prior and had a very normal pregnancy
