Jesus. I have enough trouble remembering which way the batteries go back in the tv remote. That’s some clever work there. 👏

Great video content 👍🏻 have had a fair bit of experience with the 2.0 tfsi engines over the years ,, they commonly suffer with bad piston design resulting in oil consumption, also the fuel pumps can fail and cause fuel and oil dilation resulting in overheating of the bearings etc . And of course improper oil and schedule changes don’t help. I tend to stay away from these 👍🏻 have fun

what caused this?

it's good practice to change all bearings if you are doing one. the idea is that the bearings are sacrificial, so might be OK and just have crank groud and all new shells, as its apart I would change the rings as well. obviously new chain as dont want to go back in again and good selling point.

I now know why I didn’t want to be a car mechanic. Will be looking out to see if it’s up and running. How you put that lot back together is anyone’s guess

Looks like crank walk caused that, common on heavy heavy clutches

get crank journals ground down if they have enough tolerance left and get forged rods to go with the pistons. will help if your going for big power 💪
