Talk to the apps! If they didn’t charge so much in service and delivery fees, they would tip more. I’ve been on both sides. I’m mad at the billion dollar corporations not the family or old lady asking for delivery

I’m sorry, but I did Instacart DoorDash Spark for a very long time tips. I’m not required so therefore if a tip is not on an order, why would you take it? I never did no tip no trip that was my philosophy, but everybody’s different.

I don’t have a problem tipping and I always do, but what I don’t like is listening to someone complain that they don’t get tipped enough

I don’t utilize delivery services often, but when I do, it’s a $20 tip

They would rather pay an extra $10 in the app for express delivery and then the app adds another person to their order. Then the shopper is unaware and the customer gets mad. If they would just tip the $10 instead they would get a faster shopper. I’ve started giving the service they tip for. The tip depends on how fast I move, how much I communicate, how fast I drive and if I accept any other batches.

Agreed you want me to get out and walk around and pick your items up and drive 36 miles and you don’t even think it’s necessary to tip because you paid a fee to DoorDash or Instacart or whoever you use that is not my problem and I will not be taking those orders

My typical tip is $10.00 on small orders. It’s worth it to me.

I dash, i understand where you are coming from. BUT, if you took the order thats on you and doordash. customers, just like us are trying to do what they can as well. if you and doirdash take it, its not their fault. they offered what they could. your choice to say no. no disrespect intended but the customer is just like us and I dont want to be criticized for what I could only afford.

tell the companies to quit charging me out the ass for fees and there'll be more money on my tip. I always allocate $10 for a tip, if they charge me $9 in fees unfortunately there'll only be $1 left for a tip

Minimum of $5 for a small food order but never less than 15%. Should be 20% or more if there’s water, anything heavy, dog food, or a bunch of soda.

I absolutely agree! I deliver for instacart and a couple others. I’m amazed at what people people tip. I get that the fees are so high but look we work hard.

No lies told. I tip 20% if it’s local. If it’s more than 5 miles, I tip more because gas ain’t cheap. Get ready for the no tippers to spew their cheapness.

That’s what’s going on. Due to inflation and the lack of affordability plus the insane fees, surcharges etc; people are choosing not to tip. Worse yet, people will not be using these services and there will be no jobs. The companies you work for take too much, pay you in peanuts then train you to redirect your anger towards the consumer taking off the liability from them. Looking at the Waylon car, the drones, and all AI stuff out there, they will use your complaining as a reason to replace you so fast with a robot. Gratuities are EARNED for going above and beyond. They are not forced nor expected. They should be a treat and surprised as a merit for a job well done. The more you do these videos the more people get baited and will tip less out of spite. I’m so glad I stopped using all these services a while back because I like you said, I can’t afford it so I don’t have to worry if restaurants close down, or people get laid off because consumers aren’t consuming.
