The number of times we've been offered something then rug pulled is insane. Why were people not grandfathered in? I bought a house assuming a $200 payment. Now it will jump to $600, likely closer to $700.

they never said that in the initial paperwork of save though...not even in the document I have that says I have until Feb 2027. it gives a hard date

When I was in SAVE plan my monthly minimum was $60/mo. They took me out of SAVE and raised the minimum to $267/mo. I had to apply for forbearance and only got approved for three months. Also, since the orange man took office, all the interest that I didnt have to pay under Biden was added on. Went from owing 20k to 27k. This whole thing is greed incarnate.

I'm about to lose my job soon due to the company upgrading the system & no longer needing data entry people. I can't jeep up with credit card debt now & everything keeps tearing up so it gas to be replaced. I have no idea what to do.

Anyone else getting confused because they called this the SAVE plan, and then They have everything around the S.A.V.E Act? Are they trying to confuse us? When people talk about SAVE it’s like what is passed and what isn’t passed 😵💫

Why put mine as 2028. Why not just do 1 year in advance and keep updating until thy get a definite answer? Seems like mis information definitely can sue as people like myself were prioritizing other debts to set myself up for a 2028 start of repayment.

Anyone know the name of the attorney that won the case to end the save plan because it wasn’t “fair” ? How did those people have grounds for a lawsuit but everyone with student loans who’ve been through all this turmoil doesn’t?

Yeah I gave up and haven't paid a penny because too much is going on and for some reason they ONLY want you to log into the site to check for updates instead of putting it in an email and sending it in mail. I'm not doing all of that and I keep forgetting my password
