As a dentist, it is so frustrating to see dentistry embrace planned obsolescence. Plastic/resin/composite fillings do not last and they lead to more problems, despite all the myths and recommendations from other dentists who wants to make money. If you want your teeth to last, get silver fillings, or even better, get gold inlays. Gold inlays can last a lifetime and drastically decrease the risk of your tooth ever needing root canal treatment. Plastic is plastic, it's cheap and doesn't last, despite all the hype.

I’m not sure why they said opening them up can release poison, because them just being in there is releasing poison. My husband has metal feelings and it has caused him many gut issues and even arthritis and psoriasis.
