Reminder that Caroline was NOT insulting Elena, she was concerned for her friend and the fact that she was stuck in a self destructive stage of denial while everyone else assumed Elena was fine because shes "experienced grief" before. She was talking to her mother about how something was WRONG with Elena and NO ONE was noticing it. Most importantly she was speaking the HONEST truth.
