💜🦋 A Special Happy Birthday to Mel and Yaz 🦋💜 To Ming’s beautiful friends from elementary school: through the tough times and the rough times, always remember that Ming’s love is eternal. I know these birthdays are not easy without her. I know you are fighting to hold your heads up while carrying a hurt that others may not see. When you feel discouraged, let my determination to keep standing be a pillar you can lean on. We can draw strength from one another. Be ambitious for Ming. Be courageous for Ming. Most of all, be yourselves, because that is what she always wanted for you. Give yourselves permission to celebrate, to laugh, to cry, and to keep becoming everything you dream of being. You all have shown me a part of my daughter that I did not fully know. She was a pillar in her own little community—a source of encouragement, nurturing, and unconditional love. She wanted her friends to feel supported and to become the best versions of themselves. Through your memories, I continue to discover how much love she poured into the world. Hold your heads up, my loves. I believe you have a guardian angel watching over you. To all of Ming’s friends: I cannot promise that the weight of missing her will become lighter. I am still learning how to carry it myself. That does not make it easier or more pleasant. In those moments, I take a long, deep breath—even when that feels difficult—and remember her love, her strength, her voice, and her courage: “You got this, Mom. Stop worrying. God got us, Mom. We’re blessed.” “Make a wish, Mom!” 🦋💜 Those were my Ming’s words. She was always watching for angel numbers—888, 1111, 222, 444—and whenever she saw them, she would pause whatever she was doing to make a wish. I remember our trips to the mall in White Plains. She would head straight for the fountain and ask me for my prettiest coins. I would give her all my quarters, and she would toss them into the water and make her wishes. One of the last wishes she made before we moved to Georgia was that she would be able to come back and be with her friends and family. And I fulfilled that wish. Through everything, I hold on to knowing that she was happy to be back with the people she loved. Her friends, her family, and especially her grandma meant everything to her. My beautiful girl, I wish I could hear you say, “Make a wish, Mom,” just one more time. You already know what my wish would be. Forever my Ming. Forever my love. 🦋💜 In so many ways, she was the healed version of me. I thank God that I was able to pour so much love and positivity into her, and that she carried it forward as a vessel of love, respect, honor, loyalty, and healing among her friends. Mel and Yaz, may your birthdays bring moments of peace, beautiful memories, and reasons to smile. You are loved, and your lives hold so much promise. I love you all. Be safe. Peace, protection, and prosperity to each of you. Forever Ming. Everything for Ming. 💜🦋 #MingsWay #MingsCommunityoflove #optimism #WholesomeWednesday @Mel B @This Is A Fake Account @Sherry2Stushz @drboyde @raycharlesevahi @samdinaaaaaa @EXQUISITE BITES & DELIGHTS @NateshaG @Shanny @twofourvonie @DRC @Likaa🎀 @mrs.march🕷️
