Yes, the shame of choices we made before knowing better weighs heavy. But always remember, to the only One Who matters, that past is completely erased. Clean slate from the moment of laa illaha ilAllah. So when you reminisce about your past, remind yourself to stop. It’s gone. Leave it. It’s energy wasted. Focus only on now and the future, making every step you take now truly erase (for you) what happened before. The companions who fought the messenger SAW carried the same shame, but they drowned it out by going 2x harder with their good deeds after Islam. This is the way. You got this beauty. 🙏🏻

It takes a certain level of bravery to question what you've known your whole life, and a high level of conviction to follow what your soul is calling for. Which is why I will forever respect reverts. May Allah swt make it easy for you and reward you tenfold for your intentions ❤️

Firstly congratulations sister, how lucky are you to be chosen by Allah to lead you to the straight path- Alhamdoulillah ❤️Your video was deeply moving and incredibly brave. The fact that you chose to speak openly about your struggles, emotions, and journey as a new Muslim will help more people than you probably realise. So many converts suffer silently, feeling isolated or misunderstood, and by sharing your heart you are reminding them that they are not alone. That itself is a beautiful act of sincerity and compassion. Sometimes people forget that when Islam first re-emerged in Arabia through Prophet Muhammad, almost everyone entering Islam was a convert. The earliest Muslims were people leaving behind old ways of life, facing rejection, loneliness, confusion, sacrifice, and emotional hardship. Yet those very people became some of the greatest human beings in history because of their sincerity and perseverance. Look at Umar ibn al-Khattab. Before accepting Islam, he was once fiercely opposed to the Prophet and even set out intending to harm him. Yet Allah transformed his heart, and he became one of the strongest pillars of Islam and one of the Prophet’s most beloved companions. There is a famous narration where the Prophet said that if there were to be a prophet after him, it would have been Umar because of his strength, wisdom, and character. That shows us something powerful: people’s beginnings do not define their endings. The struggle, the confusion, the tears, the loneliness — none of that lessens someone’s worth in the sight of Allah. Sometimes it is exactly those struggles that elevate a person. The companions carried Islam through immense hardship so that 1400+ years later, its light could reach people across the world — including you. And now, in your own way, you are carrying that same light forward for others who are trying to find their place, heal, and hold onto faith.

Assalaamu alaykum sister. I'm a revert too. I totally get you and it can feel so isolating, sometimes you think no one else will really understand. But there are so many of us that feel this. It gets easier with time. But our life has panned out exactly how Allah willed. If we didn't make the mistakes we did, it may not have led us to where we are now. Alhamdulillah for Islam. The main thing is that Allah gave us hidayah and that is a huge huge blessing. You are more than welcome to message me. I hope this offers you some comfort. Having a support network is important. May Allah make it easy for you. Ameen

We go through different phases in life as a journey as a whole, peaks and lows. Whether born Muslim or not. And any and everything a person has done, been through, said, witnessed, suffered or heard etc - whether before Islam or after - has reasons behind it and leads you to your present moment 😊 You don’t need to feel ashamed of anything sister. Considering also that it is Allah who Wills everything and knows everything. Chin up ❤️You’re having a moment and it’ll pass. Just like Allah says “After hardship, verily comes ease” 🙏❤️

I understand I look at younger me and think I may have been saved from so many thoughts or doing certain things but this is life and we learn and grow! Emotions are normal and being human is all about feeling good and bad emotions and making mistakes! Alhamduillah that we can feel so deeply and it shows your iman that you have that guilt but don’t let it overpower you🩷

on the day of judgement Allah will ask did you invite anyone to Islam? This is my invitation, whoever is reading this with their eyes be my witness. Always to be better, pray on time, repent, read the quran, do not judge, follow the Islamic teachings. Always turn to Allah,no matter how far you stray .Do not let this world burden you. May Allah swt forgive our sins and have mercy on us. And grant all of the ummah Jannah.
