@tvikidz: Do you know what your kid is actually learning from screen time? I'm a school psychologist and I rated 153 children's shows on what they do to your child's brain. Not age-appropriateness — developmental impact. Some of these scores are going to start conversations. Bluey?! I had to remove it because it was teaching my kid rude behaviors… hard pass for us

Can we get a part 2 of this but with shows from late 90’s early 2000’s? Little bear, zoboomafoo, Franklin, bear in the big blue house, etc

NUMBERBLOCKS!! My 5 year old taught himself multiplication and division from Numberblocks. And not just memorization, he understands and applies actual concepts and can answer random questions using random numbers correctly. I absolutely love it ❤️❤️

What about Little Bear. My daughter loves it, and I think it’s so sweet. It seems to really help her story telling and imagination.

I would definitely say bring back the content we used to watch as kids in the 80s and 90s. We need to roll back childhood to what it was like before children were addicted to smart phones.

Develop an app kind of like the one people scan food to see if it’s clean they could put tv movies games toys to see how good it is for their kids brains

Balance! I’m all for children learning. Refractory Periods are also important. I think people may take the wrong lesson from this. Children shouldn’t be only given educational media. Sprinkling in a little fun mindless entertainment is also beneficial to let the brain take a rest and absorb what it’s already learned. We’re looking for balance here.

I was raised without a tv in my home from age 8 on up. Before that, Sesame Street, Mr. Roger’s Neighborhood, Zoom, and The Electric Company were pretty much the only shows I was allowed to watch. I raised my own children without tv for many years. I thinks tv does more harm than good.
