@caitlinmconnell: When I go through security, I get a pat down because I am not able to walk through the metal detector on my own without assistance.Before I board the plane . I talk to the gate agent and let them know that I need to gate check my wheelchair and that I don't need any assistance to get on the plane . l go down the the jetway in my wheelchair and I walk on to the plane with some assistance from a friend or family member. I travel a lot with my smartdrive and I store it in the overhead of the plane. When I get off, I sit in a first class seat to wait for my wheelchair to be retrieved. #cerebralpalsy #disability #carousel #tiktokcarousel #traveltiktok
