I know I used a BTS song while my account is mainly dedicated to Stray Kids, but this choice wasn’t random and definitely wasn’t meant to compare the groups. This song references Arirang, one of the most important symbols of Korean culture, deeply connected to the country’s identity, history, and emotions. That’s why I felt it fit this Stray Kids edit as well, especially considering the concept and the fact that they’re wearing traditional Korean outfits. To me, this isn’t about “using another group’s song,” but about highlighting a cultural element that belongs to Korea itself—and therefore to them as well. It’s a way to appreciate and respect the culture both groups represent, not to create comparisons or unnecessary fanwars. There’s no intention to disrespect anyone, neither BTS nor their fans.
