Step by step tutorial for this super cute diy top 🌸🪡🧵 1. Measure from shoulder to shoulder and the root of your neck to how long you want your top to be. 2. Cut out two rectangles with your measurements. Don’t forget to add seam allowance. 3. Cut off the top corners about 7 cm. 4. Overlock all of the edges. 5. Fold the bottom up one centimeter, press and sew. 6. Measure 3cm from the bottom and make a horizontal line with a washable marker. From that line, measure 2cm and make another one. Continue until you have 7 horizontal lines. 7. Wind an empty bobbin with elastic thread. Be careful not to wind it tio hard. Thread the machine, turn the tension of your machine up and use a larger stitch length. Always test on a piece of scrap fabric first. 8. Sew straight lines along the marks you just drew. 9. Repeat this on the other piece of fabric. 10. Lay the two pieces of fabric on top of each other, with the right sides facing. Pin along the shoulders and the sides, starting from the top shirred row and all the way down the top. Sew with regular thread. 11. Fold the opening of the armholes and neck hole in 1 centimeter.
