The Head of Global Marketing & Policy at Spotify for Artists, Sam Duboff, explains the new safety features and approval systems that are being tested by a beta group of Spotify users. I have been highlighting the music industry cyber security issues for 10 years, and this is a sign of great news and efforts being made towards fixing issues like upload fraud, deleted music, fake merch stores, similarly named artists, and a variety of other organizational and cyber security issues. In this video I react, and ask my top 6 questions about "Profile Protection" in hopes that many of my ideas can become future Spotify features for all artists to benefit from.
