The scary part from a cybersecurity angle is how much digital footprint bullies actually leave behind without even realizing it — IP addresses, account metadata, username patterns, cached posts — all traceable with the right OSINT tools.

Cyberbullying happens at the platform level on apps like Discord or TikTok, where you don’t have access to another user’s network or IP in the first place. Even in the unlikely case you had someone’s IP, scanning it would only show technical details about their system, it wouldn’t stop harassment, identify them in a meaningful way, or solve the problem. That’s like trying to fix harassment with a network diagnostic tool. wrong layer entirely.
