@devonteandqieana: No one talks about how hard it is to go from being a young, newly and happily married couple, to healing from a traumatic brain injury .. Well, we will talk about it! My wife was involved in a car accident on 9/9/24 and suffered a brain injury, changing our life forever. This video is from our honeymoon in Dubai, and wedding, back in June of 2022. In a moment, everything we knew shifted. The plans we had, the routines we built, even the simplest things we once took for granted—nothing looked the same anymore. What people don’t always see is what happens after the hospital… the long days, the quiet battles, the frustration, the small victories that feel huge, and the patience it takes to rebuild piece by piece. There have been days filled with uncertainty, moments of fear, and times where we’ve both felt overwhelmed. But there has also been strength we didn’t know we had, a deeper kind of love, and a resilience that continues to grow every single day. This journey isn’t easy, and it’s not something we would have ever chosen—but it’s ours. And instead of suffering in silence, we’re choosing to share it. The highs, the lows, the progress, the setbacks… all of it.
