For the first 6 months of my relationships I tell them yes I have a daughter, she doesn’t meet that person till at least 6 months in. My husband and I did not have each other meet the kids for that, then we would do couple dates then add kids once or twice. Our kids looked at and protected each other like siblings before we moved in with each other
