I got it wrong the first time but the actual context is Gojo is the one who makes the costumes for Marin because she's a cosplayer and model. Since Marin was already known as a model, the costume he made for her made her really popular and famous, and that costume got a lot of attention from everyone. He thought she wouldn't need him anymore and that she was drifting away, and that he couldn't keep up with her. But what he didn't know was that she was thinking the same thing - she thought he wouldn't need her anymore. That's why Gojo felt sad until they drifted apart for a while if I remember correctly, and then they both start talking again to clear things up. He confesses that he likes her, she likes him too, they become a couple, get married, and have a daughter.
