It does help me to tie in and remember. I dont have a great memory and when the story is complicated with a lot of characters, annotating helps.

Great video! Recently at the thrift store I saw a copy of The Odyssey that was annotated by a teenager/early college boy with heavy slang and it was the funniest treasure and I regret not getting it🫠.
