The only part of being a boy mom that makes me sad is knowing I’ll always be “the mother in law.” But also if I raise my son to put his wife and family first always then I know I raised him right 🥺

Literally put it perfectly! We are in parallel lives - I have two boys and having a third in August 🩵🩵🩵 mostly hard for me to process future like you said because my sister and mom are my ride or dies and I just always envisioned sisters and repeating the awesome close female relationships in my life again in my older age! Weird though because would literally not change my sons even if I could but still there is grief for certain things 🤍

my third baby boy is 9 weeks old (technically 4th boy as i had a loss and he was a boy😅🙈) and my gender reveal video will never see the light of day because i SOBBED 😭😭i was not only shocked because “no way we could make 4 boys in a row” but i genuinely felt like he was a girl, i was so sad. now that he’s here im worried that when/if we have a 4th and it’s a girly- im not even gonna know what to do 😂😂im sold on just not even finding out next time because im so okay with it being another little boy. i feel really cool being a boy mom x3.

I have 4 boys, I had GD with my 4th. I will say as soon as he was in my arms I was SMITTEN. He is now going to be 5 on Friday. We thought we were done having babies so I was content with our boys and thought I would never have a daughter. We found out Christmas eve about suprise #5. I 100% expected it to be my 5th boy. But she is our first daughter! 😭 It still does not feel real. I will also say, God gave me my 4 sons to help heal my heart from trauma from my own mom. Now that I've healed thanks to my sons, I can be the mom to my daughter I wish I had and that right there makes me so thankful for my sons even more. Not only am I a better mom for them, but I now have the chance to be a healthy mom for a girl as well. ❤️

I call on MIL almost more than my mom, she is seriously the best! 🙌🏻 but I have 2 boys and I do feel this too!
