I really didn’t how Amerie followed Harper into that road trip, i feel like the next step into their adulthood would have been learning to be on their own while maintaining a strong bond instead of being attached to the hip

That's why Noah and Seb kinda being their parallel makes sense in my opinion. Noah is only really friends with Seb solely due to knowing each other for so long. And Noah/Am both in a way downplay their respective friend's actions in order to somewhat justify why they're still friends

I think they should have gone slower in the show and gave amerie and spider a growth season then they get together 😭💔

I definitely think they did it backwards. we as the audience didn't know or sympathise with harper when we were introduced to her in season 1. all we knew was this random girl was being mean to Amerie, with no context. we didn't know Harper, we didn't like Harper, and we didn't really get any real screen time of them being friends in season 1, so we had no attachment to their relationship. If the last 2 seasons happened first, and we got to see and love Harper and Ameries relationship, we would have been just as confused as Amerie and sympathised not just with Amerie as a person, but with their relationship. as the watcher, I wasnt rooting for them to become friends again, but I defiently feel like it would have been different if we knew them as friends before

I don't understand why they kept them together in the end. It makes sense that they'd stay close or in touch but I really didn't see Am derailing her whole future for Harper? They should've went down different paths in the end

The thing is they literally been friends for half of their life, friendship break up are okay for people to grow. The miscommunication and Harper’s trauma messed up their relationship, you don’t throw away a 10 year relationship over something that you can fix if you yourself want to. Sometimes people need time apart

they’re just the friends that stay friends because they’ve always been friends and i could respect that if they weren’t going down exactly the same path at the end. like if there was a season 4 im sure they would fight about the fact that amerie gave up college for harper and harper didn’t ask for that
