I was watching a video few weeks ago and in the video it was about a man who woke up early to get the family for work while the wife slept.. My son said the man is supposed to be sleeping while the woman should be working,I paused the video immediately and corrected him and said parenthood is joint work. Because you see your dad sleeping till 7am while I run around to get you and your sister ready for the day is wrong. It's supposed to be a joint work. Since that day I explained it to him he monitors me and wakes up few minutes after I have woken up to help me and him being around while I get things ready has been helpful. sometimes he doesn't do anything he just sits with me in the kitchen either sleeping or just watching or talking. I so much applaud this man for everything he does for his family.
