💔🆘 URGENT — JUNIPER NEEDS A HERO BY 11 AM CST ON 10/25! 🆘💔 🐾 JUNIPER A1300300 | DALLAS ANIMAL SERVICES 🙏 Juniper is a frightened young girl who desperately needs someone willing to give her time, patience, and a chance to feel safe. Please help her find the rescue, foster, or adopter who will give her the opportunity to blossom. 💗 🐶 MEET JUNIPER 💕 1 year old 💕 Female, not spayed 💕 48 lbs 💕 Heartworm negative 💕 Found as a stray on Cheyenne Rd., Dallas, TX 75217 ⏰ URGENT DEADLINE: 10/25/26 BY 11:00 AM CST 💔 JUNIPER IS EXTREMELY FEARFUL AND SHUT DOWN IN THE SHELTER. Juniper is a quiet, reserved girl who struggles with new situations and human interaction. She often curls up in the back of her kennel, shakes, avoids eye contact, and tries to make herself as small as possible. She has shown little interest in treats or attention, appearing overwhelmed by her surroundings. She needs a calm, patient person who understands that frightened dogs may need time before they feel safe enough to trust. ❤️‍🩹 🐾 THERE IS HOPE FOR JUNIPER! In playgroup, Juniper has repeatedly shown tolerance toward other dogs. She allows gentle greetings, keeps to herself, and does not seek out conflict. She has been described as social with other dogs, dainty, and gentle during playgroup observations. On 10/18, Juniper was cohoused with another dog, Patch Adams (A1299893). These observations suggest that a carefully managed environment with patient handling may give Juniper a chance to begin building confidence. Her comfort level around other dogs does not necessarily mean she is ready for direct interaction with people, so slow introductions and appropriate precautions are important. 💗 WHAT JUNIPER NEEDS: 🏡 A committed adopter or rescue 🐾 A patient, experienced foster who can provide a quiet environment ❤️‍🩹 Time and space to decompress without pressure 🙏 Someone willing to let her build trust at her own pace ⚠️ Juniper has displayed significant fear during shelter handling, and staff have documented the need for caution. She will need patient, knowledgeable handling and a thoughtful transition into a safe environment. 🏥 MEDICAL UPDATE ✅ Heartworm negative ✅ Bright, alert, and responsive at her 10/20 observation ✅ No visible signs of illness or injury were noted during her 10/1 tech exam Juniper’s fear should not be mistaken for a complete picture of who she could become in a safe, stable environment. She deserves the opportunity to feel secure and show us more of herself. 💗 🆘 JUNIPER IS AT RISK DUE TO SHELTER CAPACITY. PLEASE HELP HER! 🏡 ADOPT: dasadopt@dallas.gov 🐾 FOSTER: dasfoster@dallas.gov 🚨 RESCUE TAG: dasrescue@dallas.gov 📌 Please include a callback number in your email. 🔗 JUNIPER’S ADOPETS PROFILE: https://adopt.adopets.com/pet/9d203d74-22f7-4125-8ebd-787fc3f29e9e 📍 Dallas Animal Services 1818 N. Westmoreland Rd. Dallas, TX 75212 💔 Juniper has spent her time trying to disappear into the corner of her kennel. She needs someone to see beyond her fear and give her a chance to feel safe. 🙏 Please SHARE, TAG RESCUES, and NETWORK JUNIPER NOW. Her deadline is approaching, and she needs help before it’s too late. 🐾❤️ #puppy #dog #pets #animals #dallas
