@sbiery: I wouldn’t have chosen this journey. I thought I was in a committed marriage. We weren’t perfect, but I truly believed we were in it together. And now, whether I want it or not, I’m on board this trip. I keep hearing how much better it is on the other side and while I can believe that, I’m also grieving the loss of the story I thought we were writing. #betrayal #divorce #cheating #healing #journey

Omggggg. I’m 64 and been married 32 years and my husband has had MULTIPLE affairs. My daughter is getting married in September. Idk what to do😩. He promised me he would never do it again🤔. It’s horrible to live like this but damn, idk why I love him. I’m stupid.

@Linda L: That journey from darkness into light isn’t clean and pretty, but it will be! A real test of faith. Anything right and good is never easy. When you land it’ll be a whole new, better world!

Yes! Like it’s taking you away and you have no control. Feels like this divorce is going full steam ahead whether you like it or not.

It takes time but you will be OK. Just wait until the “friends” start telling you things they know. Hopefully you won’t have to hear from his friends things they knew but kept to themselves. My ex had several friends that came to me after we ended things and told me they knew but couldn’t say anything because of their friendship. I’m like wth??

I know the heartbreak! 💔 To be the one who doesn’t want the divorce, is the one who hurts the most. 😢 It does get better, but gosh! It takes forever!!

Trickle-truth is one of the most brutal aspects to discovering infidelity - especially given multiple infractions for which you’ve attempted repair. I’m so sorry. Take moments to slow down & remind yourself you’re going to be okay in the end - you’ll even thrive - tell yourself & ground yourself however/whenever you can. 🫂🫂

Yes, it’s going to suck until it’s over. But you are going to be okay when it’s over. You just have to hold on and get through it.

Exactly. You have to ride it out and there’s no shortcuts or exit. You’re on the runaway train leading to God knows where and it’s scary. But rest assured, there will be a “ get off” and you will feel a relief and release that may even surprise you. We can do hard things 🥰. Focus on you and your own health and happiness. Your only goal right now is to get through this. The rest will follow and fall into place 💕.

How to make your scenes more cinematic: 1. Story; This should be your first rule. Always have a story. Even if it's just one frame, make it count. Try to tell the viewers what you feel through visuals. Even a cliffhanger where they want to know what is going to happen and they create their own ending in their head is perfect. What is the story with your clip? 2. Composition; Short and simple: Composition refers to the way elements of a scene are arranged in a camera frame. It's how focus is drawn to the subject. Help the audience perceive a three-dimensional world when they're looking at a two-dimensional screen. Study this part and you will stand out from the crowd very quickly. Scene (wide, medium, close) Know that making a scene with what your subject is doing is huge to make your scene. Staying in the same area with the same colors and lighting really holds suspense. 3. Lighting Direction, quality and colour of the light. These are the main pillars when it comes to lighting and how to use it in a scene without light, there is no mood it. Without mood, there is no feeling - and this is what you always wanna aim for - feelings. Backlight info helps immensely. Find something to illuminate your subject from behind, overhead or a 45 degree angle from behind causing that deep contrast on the opposite side. 4. 24 FPS Originally 24fps was chosen as the film frame rate as a compromise between having a frame rate fast enough to create fluid motion to the eye and keeping film stock costs down. Today we choose this frame rate because it gives us the "motion blur" we like. It is very subtle but there. Do more research about it but this should always be your standard for a cinematic look. Everything else looks rather "video-ish" 5. Never zoom This is a red flag unless you really wanna achieve a specific look/feel for the scene and it adds something needed. Zooming is not cinematic though and should never be done. Read up on "Dolly shots" and you will find that this is the technique used in big movie productions. 6. Grading This is a big one and one of my most favourite parts. Grading is when the desired look and mood gets really finessed. It is where the story really comes to life. It's a huge topic and I will cover this more in the future. For now, learn all about it. 7. Music Of course music is the cherry on the cake. Hunt for nice scores that really underline the story of your scene. Always remember; audio gets processed first in your brain - visuals after. 8. Fog/mist A lot mist or fog can be created giving you deep separation of your subject and light giving you more depth of field and really can change anything into a cinematic moment #filmmaking #cinematography #cinematic #filmmakingtips colourgrading #colorgrading #cinematic #cinematography #cinematicvideo #filmcolorist #filmluts #beforeandafter #beforeandaftercolor #dramaticmovie #davinciresolve #slickyoumadethis
