whyyy are people so mean to new moms?! if you’ve ever had a newborn you know that no matter how many times you adjust them they like to nestle their little heads down like that😭 she filmed such short clips, she’s obviously checking on her daughter in between smh

Love to see the babywearing! Having the wrap tighter when you start (swimsuit tight) and making sure the horizontal pass is up to the nape of their neck will help keep them secure without needing to cover them with one of the side pieces. If you do want to tuck their head in, no further than their ear and flip the edge of fabric close to your neck of the side they’re facing out and over your shoulder to make sure they’ve got lots of space to breathe. Otherwise for them it’s a bit like being stuck under the covers for too long, only they don’t have a way of taking the covers off. So many instructions too for carriers and wraps are outdated or give incorrect advice, and many of the parents who start babywearing do so suboptimally without even realizing it because they’re following the manufacturer’s directions.
