The fact that you’re factoring in the cost travel and accommodations to go to Lollapaloza and not factoring it in for Treefort proves my point. You’re basically saying that the only people who would ever consider going to Treefort are locals. A random person living elsewhere in the country comparing those lineups head to head at the same price is going to have a very easy choice.

Finding new bands IS the point. I caught 9 shows and left with 9 new favorites. 👍🏻

If you’re actually spending $400 for treefort, that’s your fault. There are so many ways to get 5 day tickets for $250 or less.

Bangin line up with music going non-stop from noon to 2am for five days. Buy your tickets early to save money but the value is absolutely there

I paid $250 for my wristband during the hangover sale. $250 for 5 days of music? It’s a no brainer.

I met people from Canada and Belgium! They weren’t with a band they just wanted to come check out the fest/US/Idaho.

I love the lineup! I don't like everything, but I'm glad I don't because there's so much to see or do. I'd hate to have to split my time. I've had opportunities to see bands I never thought I'd see and find so many new bands to support.

And to be clear I have no issue with smaller less popular artists, some of them are great! I have an issue with the price point. Having a comparable price point to the biggest music festivals in America is predatory. Treefort is taking advantage of people in the treasure valley because the live concert scene is in Boise so weak.
