For the harsh UK vs. US critics, SNL has had 50 years to find themselves, and over 50 years, there is some classic stuff nothing else like it. Over that time there was also a lot of sketches that disnt land that no one remembers. SNL UK has 2 episodes under their belts entering in 2026 when there are literally decades of international sketch comedies to compare it to. I think we can allow them a little time to find their feet
