This is called the Dunning-Kruger effect. The people who don’t fear or perceive failure end up at the top. While the more intelligent people can see 10 steps ahead and every possibility of failure which hinders their own success. I am 2e high intelligence with autism and adhd, I can create complex systems master at pattern recognition and truly a polymath. I have a world of creativity dying to be brought to light but I have never truly had the support system or tools that I’ve needed to thrive. I cry often wondering what I could’ve lived up to had. I’ve been properly supported and diagnosed early and had not come from a family who stigmatizes neurodivergence.
