I HATED HER WITH STEFANNNNN!!!! While he loved her, she was just this fragile thing when they were together and even in their disagreements she always took his side inevitably. Their relationship felt so one sided to me but Delena was so equal. He brought out her fire and she tempered his. It's the whole "I would be kind for you" and every moment without her made Damon feel like his life wasn't worth anything anymore. AND THEY MET FIRSTTTTT
