guys there are multiple variations of the snowball viburnum some are hardy to zone 3. Viburnum Opulus is zone 3-8, plicatum is hardy 5-8 and the Chinese variety Viburnum macrocephalum, is zone 6-9. There are native American viburnums which the cultivars mentioned above can out compete

Ugh. I planted mine 2 years ago and I only had 3 blooms on 5 bushes. They’re finally around 3ft so I’m hoping next year they pop!

Just my experience…Zone 7 - to keep Deer away - only have seen dogs truly keep Deer away. Take your pups fur from grooming - sprinkle fur around perimeter. Male urine (never had a female) around perimeter has kept Deer away. And/or an old school sprinkler motion activated (realize you may have irrigation). A bit of a pain - move around yard throughout the week so Deer don’t get “used to its location”. Once Deer walk by sprinkler activated and started Deer. Hope it works….
