Nintendo single-handedly saved the American video game industry after the crash of 1983 — no Nintendo, no PlayStation, no Xbox, no gaming culture as we know it. Japan is the second largest user base on X in the entire world , right behind us so it makes sense that when these two cultures collide on the platform, the energy is electric. And it’s mutual. There’s something about the Japanese perspective that allows them to take things from other cultures and elevate them to a level of mastery whether it’s food, fashion, or music. They don’t just copy. They perfect.
