Also companies assume (probably correctly) that this rule will be undone under the next President…meaning they’d rather take a loss for the next couple of years than invest billions into U.S. manufacturing

There is a reason why they are produced outside of the US anyways, because its way cheaper and more efficient. Even if you set up everything in USA it will be way more expensive. Unless you start cutting worker rights and wages all the way down.

companies are already hell-bent on trying to automate everyone's job as it is now And if they're not they're just trying to give people a BS work title a 5% extra pay to do three times the amount of work they normally are supposed to do to cut back on labor cost America has a problem with capitalism it's unchecked unfiltered and out of control
