Thus is why I won’t put any pressure on my 21 year old daughter to find a job after earning her associate degree in applied science software development. She is planning to earn two Microsoft certifications in IIoT and develop a portfolio in creating software that manage healthcare devices. Mist don’t have this luxury, but if they do, work in a marketable skill or trade when the hopeful upturn happens.

I was on unemployment in Jan 2026 lost my job on Dec 8 25 everybody said ride it out I said hell no I might not find a job after unemployment runs out found a job in feb 1 went back to work never stopped working since 96 when I moved to Nevada .
