@emma__higgins: We actually did it… 😳 I really hope we made the right decision🫠🥹 But the house already feels SOOO much more open, and for the first time you can actually see it properly🥰 Now I’m just so excited to start weatherboarding over this old brick and finally bring our vision to life🏚️🔜🏠 #renovation #homerenovation #renovationjourney #beforeandafter #homeimprovement
what a waste of trees, you could've replanted them..

It’s sad but they were definitely too close to your foundation, roots be rooting. Your front porch knows 😂

I originally thought “noooo don’t remove them “ but then you said you had heaps how the back and I agree. It will bring a lot of light into the house. They were in a really silly location. I think I personally would have tried to salvage them and move them if it was possible.

Considering you have a heap out the back, those out the front didn’t make sense! And you’re going to have an orchard 🥰😍

I know it’s painful to see these trees wasted BUT with how close they were to the foundation of the deck and house I don’t think it would’ve been a good idea to keep them there the roots would’ve continued to grow under neath it all ruining causing more issues so yes rip trees but it was in deed necessary

The trees had to go! Tree roots can do so much damage underneath that you don’t see for a while, plus the entire front of the house will now get so much extra light

Definitely the right move - streetscape is everything and will add value once you jazz up the house exterior

Smart move. The roots have gone under the house and are causing damage over time. They are damaging the plumbing and the foundations.
