That is a little expensive, 40k for a higher end checkup. 30% converted into USD is about 75.00. Does that 30% cover lab work? Just curious.

20% for income tax, 10% local tax, 15% social tax = 20+10+15=45% + 10% sale tax = 55% 7 000 000 = 3 150 000 after taxing with 160 yen per 1 usd 20K USD per year this is below poverty level .
