Okay I've been wondering about this. But all the training toothpaste I find is fluoride free. The ones with fluoride are for 2+ years. Why is that?? Is there one you recommend that I'm missing maybe?

My 7 month old has 8 teeth, 4 on top 4 on bottom. She still nurses to sleep so when is optimal time to brush? Or is letting her chew on a washcloth ok?

My dentist recommended a 2 min song to play during each cleaning with my 18 month old. She loves it!

we started using infant mouth swabs when my son got his first tooth at 4 months old.
he is now 7months and holds it himself while I hold him and brush my teeth. it is a routine that he looks forward too! No toothpaste just water, we rince once in between brushing and then again at the end. we try to do this a minimum of twice a day. He just loves it and feels like he is a big boy copying us 😆

Our dentist told us to start practicing before she even has teeth. His reasoning is that hopefully she will get used to the toothbrush and it will be easier when she actually needs it. So we have a tiny baby tooth brush and I saturate it with water and softly “brush” at the end of each bath. She’s 3 months old and I suspect we are starting to teethe.

I gave my baby the little Frida toothbrush as a chew toy when he was about 4 months old and I would just to let him pretend to brush his teeth while I brushed mine and now he loves to brush his teeth I didn’t even mean to do this intentionally I just thought it was cute and fun to do together in the morning but I’m glad it worked out!

I put the little toothpaste on the tooth brush, brush his teeth quick, and then kinda let him chew on the toothbrush, to make sure he gets it all. little rice grain sized amount of toothpaste

What if your baby falls asleep with thelast bottle? I don’t want to wake him up to brush his teeth so I brush them before the milk.. is there a better way? (He still gets night feeds too, bottle fed)

I was told to use fluoride toothpaste as soon as my baby got teeth, so I have been using a rice sized amount when brushing her 1 tooth
