Praying for strength. Both you and Matthew need💪 Spiritually Physically and emotionally. Your going to need an abundance of it! If I may respectfully say: The Amount and type of insurance you have factors into the "Prognosis " I'm not being sour.My mom who was an O.R nurse 30+ years told me this as Corporations began buying Hospitals. Your doing the word that Matthew would get in fancy TBI rehab center reserved for the Wealthy. You have a fantastic start with the stander. Obviously being there daily for your son is the most amazing sacrifice I've ever seen! God works miracles through people like you! I see small differences with Matthew. I'm guessing you listened to no one who said it's hopeless! Great job! I wish Matthew had access to those "machines " With a Pully on top like they have at the fancy places where he would get Physical Therapy every day! It may take longer, but with God I believe you can help Matthew get up and functioning again! The strength you have ,no doubt is from the Holy Spirt living in you! Idk about your state (particularly under Trump) AT some point a Housing Choice voucher would allow you more space than HUD. I'm kinda going long here in your comments. One thing common with long term disability (I have a plethora of issues/Disabled) Support and people sometimes fall away. I've found this to be a blessing. When I found myself alone, I realized God is enough ✝️I have no bitterness towards family and friends. I have a rare moment disorder. Dystonia can be excruciating and I don't have great insurance. I've got to rely on God's strength when I have none left. I talk to God like he's right here. Jesus as well. People should support the sick and Disabled. They fall short. You're only Human When I'm at the end of my rope and can't get from bed to my Kitchen, 😁 12 feet away I pray "God I have no strength of my own. I can't go another step. Please give me yours " I should not be able to live on my own! (Care-Giver 10 hours a week cleans, med pick up, groceries) I Should be in a Nursing home by now. 😁Nope, I'm right where God wants me! Take care of yourself and Matthew ✝️🙏 💖🫂
